Business Resource Center

The Business Resource Center (BRC) provides clients with counselors, computers, and software to help with starting or expanding a business. Computer workstations with Internet connections are available for client use. The Center also offers a printer, copier, workstations and other resources.

The Business Resource Center is located on the 1st floor of Cornerstone Alliance offices at 80 West Main in downtown Benton Harbor, Michigan. The Center is open Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Developing and nurturing home-grown business is key to our community’s economic future. The Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Cornerstone Alliance has helped small business owners start and grow in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties since 2004. By opening the doors of opportunity, we provide access to critical resources such as business counseling, financial education, and responsible financial products.

The WBC promotes and assists in advancing inclusive entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency opportunities. If you are a woman, person of color, veteran, or socially or economically disadvantaged individual, we want to help turn your entrepreneurship dreams into a reality.

Dear Small Business Owners,

Goldman Sachs is now accepting applications for its 10,000 Small Businesses program!. The early decision deadline is March 2, 2020.
To nominate a small business in your community click here, or applicants can apply directly at www.10ksbapply.com for the upcoming Fall 2020 Cohort.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a program to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing access to education, capital and business support services. The program will provide scholars with tools and practical business education to continue growing their business to new heights.


Through the Goldman Sachs Foundation, the program is offered at no cost to the business owner.
Within 6 months of graduating, 67% of scholars reported increasing revenues and 47% of scholars added new jobs.
During the program the scholars will develop a growth plan - a strategic and tactical implementation to guide their business growth.
Through a combination of online classes and professional workshops at Babson College, scholars will learn from some of the brightest minds in the business and build a powerful network of professional support.
