42N Naturals Opens Third Location
ST. JOSEPH, Mich., (February 17, 2023) – 42N Naturals, a woman-owned business, celebrated a grand opening of its third location Friday, February 17th. 42N Naturals now offers small batch, handmade soap and bath items in the former Bagatini’s Music Store site at 418 State Street, St. Joseph.
“A St. Joseph location is important to me,” said Rachel Leins, owner of 42N Naturals. “This city is where my business started, before we moved our storefront and viewing kitchen to my husband's hometown of South Haven. I wanted to get back home.”
42N Naturals offers customers two unique in-store experiences: a Terrarium Bar that allows customers to design and create their own indoor succulent planter and a Fragrance Bar where customers can mix a personal and unique fragrance product with a custom designed label. Winter hours in St. Joseph will be Thursday through Sunday 11 a.m.to 5 p.m. through March.
Leins started 42N Naturals in 2020 as a home-based business and made a connection with The Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Cornerstone Alliance. 42N Naturals products are manufactured in South Haven using local and regionally sourced ingredients and recipes inspired by Lake Michigan. Rachel’s business now includes stores in South Haven and Saugatuck, an e-commerce platform, and a growing wholesale line.
“It’s great to see a woman-owned business expand across our region,” said Kristen Patzer, Director of the WBC. “Rachel took full advantage of utilizing the small business resources offered by the WBC while putting in the hard work to succeed.”
